Sunset With Clouds At Cottonwood Pass (Photos - August 18, 2007)

	My visit to Cottonwood Pass to view the sunset was more on the spontaneous side. I was talking on the phone with my friend Chris in Buena Vista, and wanting to catch up with him, I thought making the very scenic drive west into the mountains would be a good way to talk as we drove. The sunset was hardly impressive, at least compared to the "color show" I enjoyed one week earlier on August 11, but it was still nice as always to be up there. The adjacent photo shows a large cloud covering the sun.
	The sun sets. Those dark grayish clouds really put a damper on things. Ah well! :)
	I ran down to the tundra pool on the Gunnison County side of the divide. The reflection of the clouds on the small pond was nice!
	One more final shot of some dark orange light trying to press through those thick clouds.
