Sunset In The San Luis Valley, Colorado (Photos - June 18, 2007)

I made a
102 mile bike ride where I finished
in the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado. My friends and I briefly visited
the Great Sand Dunes National Park and on the way out, the sunset began to
take shape. (Adjacent photo) |

About 10 to 15 minutes later, we were headed northbound
on State Highway 17 when I captured this great photo! :) |

Here was the view facing the east. Those are the Sangre De Cristo Mountains way out there. |

Now this could have been a great photo. There was one last area of pinkish sky out there, but even after snapped four photos, they all came out blurry. Still, I like the outline of the mountains. |
