Rocky Mountain Sunset (Near Poncha Springs, Colorado - December 1, 2006)
I arrived just west of the junction of State Highway 285 and
Chaffee County Road 140 near Poncha Springs to photograph the sunset. I was not at all
disappointed with the "light show" that happened over Chipita Peak (adjacent photos).
Facing the southeast (towards Salida), I thought these puffy
clouds with pink and purples shades was kind of pretty.
