A Montana Sunset (October 28, 2006)

We were driving northbound on State Highway 191 between
the towns of Gardiner and Livingston, Montana, when the sky began its sunset show. For
the adjacent photo, I simply snapped the photo with my digital camera outside the passenger side window! ;) |

A few minutes later down the road, the sky "went pink"
and we pulled over so I could get a good shot of this. The snow-capped peaks in the background are the Absaroka Mountains. Montana ... they don't call it "Big Sky County" for nothing! |
